Terms and Conditions for Returns/Exchanges/Refunds

RETURN POLICY/POSTAGE REFUNDS

If you are not happy with your item purchased, you may return it to us with 7 seven days of purchase.  The item has to be in its original state when purchased and proof of purchase is required. If the item has been worn and damaged we may not issue a refund and is at the sole discretion of our Jeweller. The cost of the return of the item is to be bourne by the Customer.  If however, the item has been damaged when in transit to the customer, Broome Staircase Designs will refund the customer once it is received. Registered Mail is required when item is returned so that we can track the item when in transit to us.  Note: Please include Name and address details.

LOST PACKAGES

Once a Customers purchase has left our premises, it then becomes the responsibility of the purchaser to then track and pick up the package.  If it is lost in transit, then it will be the purchasers responsibility to contact Australia Post and follow their guidelines as to locating and retrieving the lost package.

If the Customer has been given or chosen "Free Postage" or an Eparcel Option for Postage the package will be tracked through Australia Post and you will receive an email in regard to the tracking ID.  If the Customer has chosen "Express Post", then the Customer would have received an automated email containing the Express Post Tracking number when the purchase was fulfilled. 

EXCHANGES

We are happy to exchange an item if the wrong size is purchased, subject to availability and postage costs being borne by the customer.

An exchange can only be made via our online store. If the new online purchase is greater in value than the product to be exchanged, you will be charged the difference. If the exchanged product is lower in value, you will receive a store credit or refund to Paypal for the difference (customer to choose which option they would like). All goods for exchange are to be posted via Registered Mail to:

Please include your name, order number and the new size or item requested. If easier include your original picklist that was included with a note advising what you wish to do. Once received we will contact you for payment of return postage.

Please Note: The cost of the return of the item for exchange is to be bourne by the Customer and furthermore additional costs to return the new item is also to be borne by the customer. Please note that any discount code or free shipping vouchers/codes or promotions are not valid on exchanges.

REFUNDS

If you are not happy with your item purchased, you may return it to us with 7 seven days of purchase.

Please Note: Refunds will be issued for a manufacturing fault only and will not be given if the Customer has a change of mind (If the Customer is not happy with their purchase, we will issue a Credit Note Only). Refunds do not include the cost of postage 

Refunds for products purchased, will only be processed through our Online Store. Purchases made Online cannot be refunded in-store.

Returns must be in their original condition and include the original sales receipt, packaging and certificate of authenticity. The cost of the return of the item for refund is to be bourne by the Customer and is to be sent via Registered Mail to:

(ITEMS MUST BE REGISTERED)

No refunds will be issued without the original sales receipt. If the original sales receipt is not available (for example, because you received the product as a gift or the original sales receipt has been lost by you), we will only offer an exchange.

Refunds will generally be made in the form of the original payment. If, for any reason, this is not possible (e.g. expiry of credit card) it will be necessary to agree another method of refund. 

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that any refund will be made within seven (7) business days of receipt of the products by us at the return delivery address specified above.

REPAIRS

Products purchased by you can be returned for repair or servicing by contacting us on sales1@broomestaircasedesigns.com.au initially.

Other than in respect of a defect, repairs of a product may incur a fee.

AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

We guarantee the authenticity of all pearls purchased through our Online Store. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with all South Sea Pearls purchased.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss or damage suffered or incurred by reason of or arising from or caused by breach of these terms and conditions, negligence, breach of statute or otherwise by us.

By accessing, browsing and/or using this website you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms and Conditions”) and to use the site in accordance with all applicable laws. If you do not so agree, then you must cease use of our Website
