Pearl Pendant Shinju Matsuri Staircase (9cty)
Pearl Pendant Shinju Matsuri Staircase to the Moon
This amazing Staircase Pearl Pendant was made in September. The annual Shinju Matsuri (which is Japanese for "Festival of the Pearl") originated from three cultural festivals - Japanese Obon Matsuri, Malaysian Hari Merdeka, Independence Day from British rule in 1957, and the Chinese Hang Seng. The festival united these cultural groups. From these original cultural celebrations the Shinju Matsuri then became a festival that celebrated Broome and encouraged tourisim. The festival is held between late August and through September each year in Broome. This pendant can be created in 9ct, 18ct and stirling silver. It features the beautiful Australian Broome Pearl in a solid bright white colour (can be changed to cream or golden). To own a Staircase pendant is a proud moment that will last forever.
